Acquisition | SANYO SPECIAL ST | 25th March 2025
On January 31, 2025 NIPPON STEEL CORP adopted a resolution to acquire the shares of common stock of SANYO SPECIAL ST for JPY 2750 per share through a tender offer. At the end of the acceptance period, the offeror controls 92.16 percent of SANYO SPECIAL ST share capital. As the free float is below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove SANYO SPECIAL ST from the indices on March 25, 2025.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- SANYO SPECIAL ST will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of SANYO SPECIAL ST (5481.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
- Effective Date (open): 25/03/2025
