Initially announced on February 10, 2025 HYATT HOTELS CORP made a cash offer for PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV of USD 13.5 per PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV share held. Tender offer results for the offer ending June 9, 2025 reached acceptances of 92.7% of PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV shares held. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on June 16, 2025. Trading in shares of PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV is expected to be halted effective June 16, 2025.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of PLAYA HOTELS & RESORTS NV (PLYA.OQ) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
