Initially announced on December 11, 2023 STAR BULK CARRIERS CORP made a stock offer for EAGLE BULK SHIPPING INC of 2.6211 shares per EAGLE BULK SHIPPING INC share held. The completion of the event is pending the approval of EAGLE BULK SHIPPING INC shareholders on April 5, 2024. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on April 9, 2024. Trading in shares of EAGLE BULK SHIPPING INC is expected to be halted effective April 9, 2024.
